I live in New York, and we have all that emissions ****, but i really dont think i care. I want to get a custom exaust, no cats, will it be too loud? Should i just spring for a reg exaust system?

 

The full Racing Beat exhaust isn't very loud at all. Others, like the Apex N1, are rather loud and will get you a little too much police attention.

 

What if I bought a pair of mufflers, and just put some silencers so the cops wont bother me. I still think I'm going with the custom exaust though.

 

I have a header, presilencer, and single N1. I let a guy drive her, and even in a residential area, w/ 35mph speeds and lots of sound-deadening trees and houses.....I could hear it about 2 blocks away VERY easily

 

Im talking about the silencers that you put on the actual muffler.
