my friend just bought one for his civic, and we are going to try it out on my car see how it sounds until he gets all the necesary componets for his turbo kit. When he told me about it, i had never heard of them. It's really cool, he bought it online from japan. Just curious if anybody else has one or has used one. To me, a bov is a bov, and they all work the same but your input on one of these particular bov's?

never heard of it, but a blow off valve is not just a blow off valve. some are better than others and make distinct different sounds when venting. i believe the chirping "psh psh psh" isnt good and then the other i get confused with how its supposed to sound. either "pshhhhh" or "psh-," i don't remember which. i think SCC did the article on it.

 

I have a SARD R2D2(yes like the robot). I havent had any problems with it and it sounds great. Dont know anybody here with this blow off, I had it special ordered from Japan. Everbody always ask me what kinda BOV it is

 

Sard is REALLY good stuff!! When you think HKS, Greddy Apex'i.....Sard is right there with them all. Top notch!
