does anyone hear...while racing...ever floor it and then round 5rpm dump the clutch again to get the turbo to spool a little harder? of course u need a nice clutch for this but i was wondering if any of u use this techinique..or if just streight going though the gears is the fastest.

For drifting that would be a good way to break out the back.
As for racing, I've never heard of anyone doing that. If you want it to spool harder, you should tune it to spool harder. All that does is make noise and waste time.

I've read about it, I've done it and it works well. It's a rally and autox trick. Doesn't so much spool the turbo any quicker as it does break the tires loose and bring the revs up a bit. Best idea is to just be in the right gear and have the revs up but sometimes there are 'tweener gear situations where this works. Hard on parts though.
