european 6 ports NA motor

ok, here we go...when we was not able to find 6 port acutators which we know from US 13B na motors, we tought we do have 86 NA FC with 13B 4 port motor

but its not true

yesterday, taking down both intakes, we found it is 6 port, ports are not with sleeves, but with butterflies

its european 13B 86 NA FC with distributor - our TII's are similar to US ones, but those NA's are kinda out of my knowledge and FSM's ;p

If your engine doesn't have the sleeves then maybe the transition of the port into the engine is not the same as the one with the sleeve's. When you remove the sleeves your left with that wall. If you guys take an engine apart I would love to see what the ports look like on the front and rear plate. If its not like ours we have in the states you guys could make some money. That lower intake is pretty neat also. Much easier to port than the ones we have.

i removed butterflies from that intake, as well actuators...going to try fit this intake on my US 88 NA block sometimes in next 2 weeks (once my stuff for 13BT will be here)

of course, i will take that euro engine apart and take pictures of intake ports...

i`m taking pictures of pretty much everything and have them on http://rx7cz.net/photos/ ;o)

Very interesting. Like throttle plates instead of rotating sleeves. Cool..
