eshaft endplay?

eshaft endplay?

is the endplay different on a auto or manaul s4 13b?....i just blew my old manaul s4 the engine i have to put in it came out of a auto. i would assume that they both have same 13b or do i have to shim it out because im using a clutch?

End play is the same. If the motor is auto you need the counterweight and flywheel.

yeah i got the counter weight part but the endplay is off by seven thousandth of a inch it should be 20 and its 27....

I think you mean 7 ten thousand, .0027" is within spec, off the top of my head I think its between .0016" and .0029"..

make sure you have the right spacer behind the counter weight if you dont that could be the problem

last night i checked and the engines did have different spacers behind the front counter weight

guess now all i have ta do is shim it or swap spacers. but y would the endplay be off. what could cause it.
