anything to check before installing my new rebuild?
well we got the flywheel torqued down and loctite'd, got the LIM/UIM on, water pump/housing on, pulleys, etc. and we're gonna put the oil pan on thursday and drop this thing in the ole 89 TII baby...
now after all this work, and probably several hours thursday when we install this rebuild, is there anything i can check on my rebuild to make sure i dont have anything internally wrong before we have to take the whole damn thing out? i measured the eshaft endplay with my drumhead tensioner (see my thread about using the drumhead tensioner)
and it read 6 on the gauge -which was nearly nothing- and i have no clue what that is in tenthousandths of an inch... anyone? sorry for the bigass pic in the middle of my post btw.
i can turn the engine over without too much effort by hand via the flywheel or a ratchet on the front crank bolt. it makes very strong compression queefs -its full of vaseline though, lol- so i'm not terribly worried about the compression..
is there anything i should doublecheck before putting this rebuild back in my wonderful rx7 that i havent driven in over a month?

Totally unrelated, but you have one of the nicer 17" HP notebooks don't you? Thats like the only one ever made that has the full numpad. Right now the current models are the 8060 and 8080, and they are pimp assed machines, just like your engine Nice choice :P
