Erratic boost MBC on S5 a solution?
I have erratic boost. Some days it's on, and some it's way off. and sometimes it's on and the very next stop light, no boost. I'm thinking it's an electrical problem, perhaps the soleniod valve isn't clicking over to hold the wastegate shut.
What's the opinions on putting a manual boost controller on a S5 and just unplugging the hoses from the electrical one, trying to fool the computer into thinking it's still working?
I'm not looking to troubleshoot the problem now, I just wasnt a fast soution that will give me some boost. I'll then troubleshoot it, but me needs boost!.
Thanks

unplug the line off the wastegate, unplug the line off the turbo. run new lines from the MBC to each. done.
as long as you don't unplug the wire harness from the stock one on the pass side under the IC. you won't get a code or check engine light.

Thanks so much, I saw your sig and your mods. I also have a Red S5. I assume this is the setup you have. what MBC do you run?
Thanks again.
