Enigne Dies under 1200 rpms??? help?
Ok on my Fc runs great in the high rpms, but when i try to get it to idle the engine just dies out under 1200 rpms.. i have searched and searched for vac leaks and my engine has 93 psi compression.. so if you have any ideas please let me know
Thanx

Well i checked the timing on mine but its kind hard when it wont idle
. So are you saying that you adveance or decreased the timing about 5 degrees to get it to run right assman?
I would be money that you have a vac leak.. while the engine is running spray some "Starting Fluid" around the intake runners and vac lines that you have left.
If the RPM goes up at all then you have a vac leak

This makes a good starting point for further adjustments later, when you figure out what else is wrong. If she runs like crap no matter where you tweak the CAS, either the timing is so far off that you need to restab, or you have definite other issues to resolve first before you even mess with the timing again...Like vac leaks
