Engines and Posi's
I was just wondering wherew i could get information and maybe compare the diffrences between my stock 1988 13b engine and a tri rotor twin turbo j-spec engine, and where i could get it. I alo would like to get rid of my limited slip dif where could i find a posi trac diff for around 5 bills

I was thinking the same thing. Isn't a posi trac rear end exactly the same as the clutch type LSD found in some of the series 4 cars?

I wish I was driving!
Posi is not a fully locked rearend, which squeals around corners and is HORRIBLle on tires and axels. There are plenty of different types of differentials, but posi-traction is just chevy's name for a clutch-type LSD.

You're thinking of a spool, which is not a differential at all, it's just something that the ring gear bolts to and the axles slide into. No differential action whatsoever.
There's also the welded diff AKA "Lincoln Locker" (named after Lincoln-brand welders) which is the same basic thing except not as strong. The gears in an open diff are welded together for the same effect as a spool.
