Question Engine will not make a full turn

I need help please. My engine had it's soft seals and front iron replaced. I have finished putting it back in the car again but I had a problem when trying to start it. At first the starter seemed like it was having trouble turning the engine so I kept trying until it turned a bit then seized good. After removing the starter and turning the engine backward with a pry bar it stoped again after about half a turn (170 degrees). If I try turning it counter-clockwise again it still stops after half a turn. The engine just seems like it can't turn more then 170 degrees. Sparkplugs are removed and I can clearly ear some compression.

maybe something found its way into the motor like a bolt or a nut?..... happened to me on a fresh rebuild a year ago.... had to disassemble and reassemble.

I don't think anything has fallen into the engine but even if something was dropped wouldn't it move inside the engine? I've actually marked the pulleys and the motor always jams at the same spot each way.

I just remembered that the engine turned fine when it was out off the car. I've turned it several times to install the clutch and put some oil through the spark plugs holes. Could it be a transmission problem?

unless its small enough to fit in the bathtub it will always get stuck at the same place..... a washer has a possibility of stopping the engine when it gets pushed by the apex seal

it could also be a tranny problem...... remove the tranny and see if that helps first

And how would I go about removing something from my engine? Remove the manifolds and turn?

I finally found the problem, when I reinstalled the oil injectors I forgot to put one of the two o-ring and so the injector went in deep enough to jam the rotor.
