engine swap, couple questions

Here are some pix from this week, i digged out my NA motor from my TII and dropped in 13BT, my good old NA motor goes to silver NA FC which had blown motor.

Currently i have couple questions, i don`t know where to plug wire from my AC, where to plug connector which is on same part of harness like connector for oil level sensor which is in oil pan.

Then, blocking of all stuff, do i block both nipples on lower intake manifold ? I`m going to use only one nipple under BAC location for boost sensor, FPR, BOV and boost gauge. Is it ok ?

I think thats it, should crank it up tomorrow or sometime next week.

The wire that plugs into the AC is coming from the front of the car - it's actually a separate harness from the main front harness. Look under the battery area for it.

Another note - it looks like you're using silicon vacuum hose for fuel line - DO NOT DO THIS. This is a SERIOUS fire hazard. You need fuel injection rated fuel line.

Also, what clutch is that? That sucker's a beast!

i know, i will get fuel lines before cranking up, for water i could use silicon or fuel rated one too ?

clutch is from australia, LUK brand when u look at it, Extreme 4 ***** ceramic with sprung, price of clutch was something about $425 AUD, counterweight $95 AUD, steel lightened flywheel $330 AUD...however with shipping and local taxes here in CZ is final price doubled

You can use silicone lines for water - that's no prob. It's just not compatible with fuel or oil.

On the AC wire, the oil pan wire you're referring to is the wire to the subzero sensor on the oil pan - it has the same plug. The wire will be on a harness coming from the front of the car, running under the battery box along the frame rail.

i have one wire from oil pan and thats hooked up to drivers side engine harness, thats ok

on that part of harness i have plug which i don`t know where to hook it up, on other TII i found it disconnected too so i don`t know if it has to be connected at all..

i`ll go thru FSM and Hayes again to check everything

Yeah, that one-wire plug is for the subzero sensor on the oil pan, which you may or may not have. There is also the oil level sensor on the oil pan, which has a 2-wire connector that only uses one wire.

That subzero plug doesn't have to be connected at all - that's all good.
