engine swap
I am new here and I really love how the rx7 fc looks but I have one problem. Even though I like the rotor engine and everything about it I am not making enough money to support it, like the fuel consumption is pretty high and with the gas prices in my country being so high it is a problem and also the oil consumption too. So I am thinking too engine swap it with a piston engine. The engines varieties i would like to use are inline 4 or inline 6, mostly thinking about an sr20 for the same reason I want to swap the rotor cause a 2.6L (rb26) or a 3.0L (2jz) have too high gas consumption. So if I try to swap an sr20 in the rx7 fc how hard will it be and around how much it might cost just for the swap not the engine. All the work will be done by me and for tools I have everything I will need

i'm not sure what you're asking. if you're going to be doing all the work, then aren't your costs going to simply be: the engine, transmission (or bell housing adapter), engine management, materials (metal to make mounts and to build or modify the subframe, etc.), wiring materials (wire, loom, heat shrink, solder, etc.), and sundry items?
that said, it would seem to me that the costs of doing the swap somewhat correctly might be inline with the cost of getting a cheap, daily beater (an econobox), and then relegate your Rx-7 to when-you-want-to-drive-it-duty.
