Engine spitting(No not flames)

Ok so this started when I changed the oil and had a tranny flush.

Oil that was used: Mobil1. 10w30.

I read that that was just fine to use since Mobil1 is a good brand.

The engine makes a "spit" noise when running and when idling. At first and maybe still, its the TPS but I am not sure.

The TPS is off and I haven't had a chance to properly fix it.

It is starting to concern me . any idea ya'll? please and thank you

Without the TPS your car will run "richer"... This probably has to do with the "spitting noise".

Have you noticed a bit more of a fuel smell from your exhaust?

like if you are sitting idling and then after a min the exhaust makes a pop and maybe the rpm wiggles? something that I believe is normal. happens to me on 100% stock low mileage and fully modded. little extra gas igniting in the extremely hot exhaust.
