i have an 87 turbo and its dumping gas and oil so im pulling the engine and rebuilding it. does any one know about how much it will cost and what i will need. Also because im pulling it i think it would be wise to make it faster so any suggestions on cheap power would be nice.

Factory Service Manual and the video available at Atkins Rotary for rebuilding the 13B. Clean it till its spotless so when you measure everything you get good readings. If you don't you'll end up putting together a wonderful piece of junk that will not last. Trust me I know having learned the hard way. Air tools make it easier but aren't required except for maybe the flywheel nut. Plenty of clean work space and storage space for your spec'd parts.

General rebuild kits run you about $900 depending on what you need. Since your going to have the engine apart you might as well install all those new seals even if you don't need them. Possibly the rotor housings. You have to inspect the hell out of them. If you question that its usable you probably need to replace it.I'm sure there's more but I can't remember anything right now.
