CA Engine Light Popping on and Off

I have a S5 and whenj I was driving this morning after warm up I would push on the throttle and the Check engine light would pop on. Then I would Either get off the throttle or Just ease up a bit and the light would turn off.. I havent seen a car ever do that. Does any one have any ideas?at a stop is doesn't come on. only when accelerating ...thanks

If you search you'll find that this is a problem that no one can identify. Pulling the codes shows nothing. For me, it only happens on cold mornings, and only when I press into the throttle more than enough to get the car moving. It goes away when the car warms up.

I'm wondering if it's an engine warning like it's too rich or the cold air is doing something to the mixture or ignition. I'm surprised there is nothing in the owners manual, uinless no one has an original owners manual to check.
