engine harness, n/a to tII?

alright if this is posted already IM SORRY. I have been searching for a while and cant find what i need to know. im putting a t2 motor back into my 10ae and the engine harness i was sold is crap and wont work. now im talking about the harness with the engine compartment fuse box, and the CAS connector. now i know a few plugs are different between the n/a and the t2, and the t2 has more plugs on it, but is there a way to make the n/a harness work on the t2 engine and tranny or do i need to just buy a tII one? thanks for all help cuz im pretty lost at this point

im assuming that this is with the stock computer? You can make the NA one work, but there are 3 pins that are different to the ECU between NA and TII, as well as a few to other harness connectors. I know that NA has the alternator plug on it, while TII doesnt (its on the engine harness, not the emissions harness). its not much work if you have some practice with a soldering iron, and can read the wiring diagrams in the FSM

Ah! Your talkiing about the ENGINE harness. The one with the engine fuse box, cas, turbo alt wires. Hooray! Finally a question about the ENGINE harness.

I think the only thing you'll be missing if you put the n/a ENGINE harness in would be the lack of the plug for the alternator. On a na that alt plug is on the Emissions harness.

I took this thread to be talking about a turboII car with a bad/ragged Engine harness and the thread starter wants to put a non turbo Engine harness in the car.

I'd do it if the turboii engine harness is really ragged/shot/bummed out.
