Engine Fusebox Wiring

The wire on the front side comes from the batterys positive post.
The one one the rear ties into the cable from the alternator output plus it's spliced into the wire that feeds the ignition switch and also feeds the two circuit breakers on the top row of the interior fuse box.
It might have been easier to say the one on the rear goes to the alternator, which it does, but it also has the other wires spliced to it that I described above.
And the fuse box can be installed 180* out and you don't wanna do that becaue that will result in you installing the wrong wires on the wrong side of the engine bay fuse box.

The fuse box sits sideways when mounted in the car............the EGI fuses on a series four car would be on the inboard end of the box .
Soooo if you mount it like that you have a front and a rear side of the box. Make sense?
Series four or five? I described a series four engine bay fuse box which has two EGI fuses on the inboard end of the box.
