Engine died

I need some help. I was following behind this slow lady and I punched it to go around and BANG. It started running real rough and when I took my foot off the gas it died. Luckily, right into Auto Zone. I check all the wires, everything is on tight, that I can see and get to. It starts, but runs rough and dies when I let off the gas.
I think I read about this sometime back. Thanks Mike

need more info. What car, year, turbo or not. But from the sounds of it to this newbie, i'd say your motor is blown.

Check for air leaks after the afm. That could cause your symptoms.

It's located at the airbox where the air enters the piping to the throttlebody.
