Engine Dealer

I am having trouble finding an S4 TII swap for my 86 GXL... If anyone could tell me about a dealer here in the US that would be great...

any used motor could potentially be bad... even if you get it from a engine importing company... the engine is in fact used and the history of how it was used is unknown

I havent actually bought a motor from the site listed above as of yet but it seems fairly reasonable on pricing considering what you get. if anyone knows of anything better let me know too. i was quite interested in the 20bs too.

You might want to put crank there.

They should be able to pull the plugs and tell if it has compression or not - $750 for all the stuff you need is a deal even if it's just a rebuildable core. Unless it's like another $700 to ship it.

Oh, on their website it does say the engines were tested before they were pulled and there's a 30 day startup warranty on them. That would at least pretty much guarantee against a blown seal. Imma haveta bookmark that one. :P
