Unhappy engine code 3 CAS please help

Ok my problem is this. I rebuilt the motor. I have good compresion. I have a spare crank angle sensor that i swaped, and still no luck getting any spark. Am i wrong or right about this? If you clear the codes, and dont try to start the car, there should be no codes at all. I'm still kicking a code 3 after i clear the codes. I hard wired a new conector for the CAS, because i had a problem with the conector in the past, and no its not a shoty wire job. lol. tommarow im going to try reading out the signal from the ECU, and make sure there isnt any broken wires. I also made a couple of grounding wires for the engine compartment. Any ideas please let me know. thanks

Too many engine-to-chassis "ground" wires are a bad thing- would you run 4 power wires to the same component? That's basically what you're doing, showing the ECU fuel scheduling circuit multiple power paths...

You stated the obvious thing to do at this point- read out the CAS inputs while cranking, compare to FSM specs...

yeah i already read your post, but i only made 2 engine grounds. one for the actual engine, and one for the leading coils. Since i painted the engine compartment.

Don't mean to thread high jack but, could you explain how to cleared the ecu codes? I got an error code after clearing them too. Maybe were doing it wrong.
