Engine Bogs
Ive searched for a litle bit on here but cant find anything. Here my issue my car bogs only when it idles. It idles at about 500rpm n jumps up n down from 500rpm to about 900ish. Never did it before. I changed my stock air box for an aftermarket filter (weapon-r). I have the adaptor on for the MAFS. Im using orginal tubing and got a steel mesh breather on vac line. I just had a LW fly wheel and a 6 puck ACT clutch installed. I think it might be the filter but im not sure. when driving it doesnt bog but i also havent gone over 3,000rpm. So plz tell me what you all think thanks =).

I "lost" my emissions....
what year is the car? and is it turbo or n/a? you should be able to adjust it out by turning the screw on top of the throttle body and the rich lean screw on the passanger side inner fender

ya my bad... the make and model woulda been important info. Its a 1988 n/a convertible. heres an update when it sits for a little, it idles fine for about 2-3 mins then slowly starts to bog. Theres also a ticking like sound from the left side of the car. when i hit throttle it idles good for like 10 secs then does it again. My firends dont think its the air filter but they dont know alot about rx-7... thats y im posting here. Any ideas ppl? Thanks
Also is it normal that when my car starts it shoots up to about 2,500rpm for like 2-3 secs then shoots down to 700ish instantly, is that just the cold start?

yeah thats the cold start. try turning the screw on the top center of the throttle body, it may be under a rubber cap. that should fix your problem.
