emmisions
emmisions
Well i got a buddy who wants to gut all his emmisions. What stuff should he remove. All i can think of is the egr, air control valve, air polution pump. Also whats the best place to get block of plates. And if possible can some of you guys post pics of your engine bay with the emmissions removed thanks guys. Ohhhhh p.s, It feels good to drive the rotary again instead of the gst.
The cats as well
K2RD has block off plates but I heard of someone complaining they were a little slow. I think Mazdatrix might also have them separately.
I don't have any pics but basically remove what the block off plates cover

might think about keeping the pressure regulator control solenoid (aft of the group, orange, I think) for hot start control, and the purge valve...the rest of the junk won't really affect driveability

The air pump is not just an emissions pump on the 89-91 non turbos. Removing it will result in lowered horse power and torque unless there is another pump or system put into its place.
