Emissions say car is running too rich, how do I adjust?
88 N/A, HC limit 170, mine 340. I even put in some echeck gas ****, and some bottles of 91%isoprohyl alcohol. They say I have too much unburned fuel, I only have a Bonez highflow cat. Is my car running too rich in the first place? If so, I want to adjust because I dont want to have it too rich for my motors sake. How can I lean it out?

And Hailers, I have my ACV and airpump. Would a new thermo sensor help? I dont know what the reason could be. Passing echeck is not a prob, Im just gonna give them my grandmas address, her county is echeck exempt. I just dont wanna hurt the 7.

The reason I asked is that you can adjust the mix at idle, using the variable resistor. But this adjustment normally doesnt need to be done unless you have chenged the motor. My readings are higher then yours are, and I had changed everything in the book. O2 sensor, plugs, wires, all that. Then you can check the fuel pressure regulator. If its bad, you could have too much pressure at the injectors. What we came up with finally with my 7, is that the new motor was assembled with the front and rear rotor housings switched. This is preventing the ACV from accomplishing its job. And the ACV not working will cause you to run rich.
