Emissions removel without throwing codes on an s5
Are you actually getting a CEL? If you remove the emissions properly you shouldnt be getting any CEL but the codes will still be there. I have read of people using resistors (I think) to trick the ECU into not registering the codes. Not too sure about it but I'm sure you can find it in a search.
S4's are not so fussy, but the S5's need continuity on the solenoid circuits.
I left the solenoids plugged to the harness with no vac lines on them, then bundled them up with zip ties.
Dummy resistors are more elegant. I need to get an ohms value off a solenoid and do that.
For the cleanest job, remove the plugs & put the resistors in at the ECU.

Yes, I've heard of using resistors, but I always hear the same thing about not knowing which kind to use. Does anyone know of how many watts, and ohms?
Also I should have said this earlier. I am removing everything just because I am to lazy to put it back. I talking about ap, ps, a/c, rats nest, acv, and all emissions on the intake manifold.
I know for a fact that nothing happens with s4 ecu's, but s5 Ive heard different.
If anyone knows what size resistors to put on, let me know.
