Emissions removal research... RB exhaust...
I'm doing a bit of research on emissions removal and the first thing that pops up is CAT removal.
I have a RB 3" DP which goes into this...(pic) is that a CAT or not...

After that the exhaust splits off into the 2.5" duals.
Am I safe for the "first stage of emission removal"
CATS/ACV/Air pump
since I have a TII I dont need the ACV for 5/6 ports but is there anything else I need it for?

no..that is a racing beat presilencer..you have the full 3" full race exhaust from racing Beat..and yes you can remove emission control stuff providing you dont need it to pass emissions testing

I've already fashoned up a blockoff plate for the ACV and the air pump is gone. The only thing I'm thinking of leaving on is the EGR valve. Its still functional correct?
I figure I should prevent making more pollutant gasses if I possible.
good or go??

If you've yanked the ACV and the Air pump... you might as well yank the EGR and pitch it too..... you;ll need to either make or get a cover for it.. Taking the UIM off with make it MUCH easier to get to the damn thing.
