Emissions or Aux port??
As I began disassmbly to remove my engine I discoverd a dissconnected hose under my air intake, question is what is it for??
It is a larger (air) hose and it has a silencer on it, and goes to the engine around the aux port area and where it goes the other way? I don't know. It was disconnected at the silencer.
Is it for the aux ports or emissions and how badly if at all does it affect perfomance?

from what I can recall with out goin out and looking, the one end goes into the LIM, if it does is it possible that it could have sucked in some dirt and dust and caused the apex seal to pop? because it died when I was turning around on a gravel road and my friend in front of me kicked up alot of dust and gravel, as I was reving my engine.
also could a bad injector cause the apex seal to blow?

there is no way pulling off the ACV exhaust tube would caus an apex seal to go. any dirt that may have gotten into that hole would have had to travel ***against the flow of the air*** through the acv, trhoguh the airpump, back into the airbox and then on into the engine. that just wouldnt happen. sand getting sucked through your intake is a more likely suspect and has been know to happen. a bad injector can also kill an engine by causing a lean condition and thus detonation.
