can someone plz post pics....

hey i need some help

took out the turbo and all the **** needed to get to the turbo in order to port the wastegate. I also took out a couple things i didnt actually need to take out but oh well. Im putting all the stuff back together now and i was just wonderin if anyones get some close up pictures of the passenger side of the engine bay... if so that would be great. i kno where most of the stuff goes I'm just havin trouble in the positioning of em, finding myself caught up in a spiders nest of hoses and ****.

thanks

OHH also... quick questions:

i bought all new gaskets, do i need to put any like silicone or anything on any of them?

Also, i got 4 lock washers kickin around and i forget where they go, somewhere in between the turbo and the exhaust tho... anyone kno?

thanks again

you should have taken better attention while dissassembling your engine. the little things you misplace or forget where they go are bitches to figure out sometimes. it's worth the little extra time spend putting bolts and nuts in baggies (at least when i tear **** down) so you can label those baggies and put numbers on them so you knwo what order they go on.

but hell the first time i ever took off my intake manifold on my 87 n/a it took me forever and a day to get back on. but good luck and taking time saves time.

So - this is how your engine feels:

You're kidnapped by aliens & strapped to a table.
One alien cuts off your dick & says to the other alien "I wonder what this is for?"

In reality though, when you get back off the table and have your dick...er...Turbo in your hands trying to figure out which way is up, you realize you should have used a digital camera before to keep track of how it went on. That and you WILL learn from disassembally and reassembally if you use one to keep track of the process.

And, if you are talking about the exhaust gasket, silicone is a no-no, but with the intake manifold, yes, but VERY LIGHT, nothing much, and all to the outside if you can.
