Emission, can she do it with no cats

Hey guys, in a few months, my car and I will mark our 2 year partnership. Currently the only mod I have is gutted cats. In CT, we have to go to emission every 2 years. Mine is due fairly soon. I am just wondering if I will have a chance of passing it at out without the cats. My car does not smoke or anything, but it smells pretty bad. Would it be even worth trying to go to it? When I first bought my car, my car passed with enough to fit 10 more rotary. Just can she do it again this time, with no cat....

Not a chance. Your only hope of passing is with a bribe.

Hey what year/type of rx do you have? I have cats from a 87 base na. from the exhaust manifold to the y-pipe. they are clogged but they pass emissions in ohio. if it doesn't work, i can sell you mine for cheap and then you can just take them off when your done and save it for next time, or buy a new cat. Just trying to help.

I'd say your best bet is to go to a shop where you know someone who can just throw a sticker on it and mark it down as passing, thats what I do

I know someone who has passed a non turbo here with no cats. they went down for the test for a laugh to see what happened before he got new cats made and passed. they couldn't stop laughing. you'd need the airpump on as it pumps air into the exhuast ports which helps. it would have to be in perfect running condition. if you can smell it I doubt it would pass.
