The main fuse doesn't power everything. See all the big fuses up front? That's where everything splits up from the battery source. The main fuse happens to power most of the things you need, though...If your headlights, retractors, tail lights, stop lights, and hazards work, then your batt is good. Almost everything else is fed through that main fuse, however. You need to check for 12v on the big black wire at the ignition switch, as I said before. If you get power there, then it's your switch that is bad. If not, it's your main fuse, or the wiring between the engine fuse box and the ignition switch

dont do a jumper wire to the switch. you could damage somthing

ok if ther is no light at all the wires at the switch with the key on then you blew a fuse or posibly a ground got disconected on the motor or the starter

check all the grounds. that should help and good luck

aight guys i spliced ina wire from the battery into the ignition power switch with a fuse to run it case something blows and it fixed....thanx for the help...hopefully i can figure out why that line blew in the first place. I also have a hesitation problem, like my car is mising a breath or something when it is cold, after i overheated iot a few weeks ago. onec the motor gets hot it stops doing it, but I wil be on the gas and then it starts stumbling, not like it is misfiring or anything but like there is a lack of something, not total but a definitive lack, like fuel it feels like, maybe spark, i dont know....

You get coolant in your engine bay? Sounds like a bad ground or TPS being messed up.

Got a OHM meter? Pull the plug for yours TPS sensor, stick the leads onto the green and black wires, flip it to ohm reading. Sitting there, it should read 1ohm. pulling on the throttle cable should have a nice clean (no jumps in ohms!) all the way to 4-6ohms full throttle.

If its not a clean swoop, replace it. Its dying and can cause hesitiaton.

Kilo-ohms, Spyder, not ohms

It almost sounds like something fell off/came apart, Dltreezan, causing a vac leak or whatnot. You got gremlins, lol...

no doubt about that...and it all started happening after i overheated it and the probloem seems to go away when the engine bay is all nice and hot....hmm, usually a few minutes after the motor has gotten warm then it dissapears.

I'd be reading temp-related sensors' inputs at the ECU right about now

Heck, I'd be reading just about everything I could there, to see if something changes when she gets warm (besides the normal voltage fluctuations from the sensors)...
