emblems on Mazdas

I was just wondering if the emblems on my 7 are glued on or bolted on through the body. I'd like to debadge it, but not if it's going to leave holes there. The badges are the raised metal/plastic type, not the stickers. If anyone has some info, post it!

thanks
geoff

The two rear emblems are glued on, but the RX-7 logo has pins that go to little clips/holes on the body.

Why de-badge it? I'm proud of the fact that I drive an RX-7.

I want to debadge it because I think the previous owner put the wrong year badges on after the car was in an accident/repainted. don't think I'm not proud to drive a 7, I am!

So the "RX-7" badge is bolted on and the "mazda" badge is glued on? Am I understanding you correctly?

On my 87 TII somebody took off the RX7 badge and replaced it with the Mazda sticker that goes on the front bumper. So now my car is a Mazda Mazda Anybody know of a good way to get that sticker off somewhat cleanly?

For a dozen doughnuts at Leader Plastic Plating In Toronto. Said he will do It for free. He remembers years ago he did a FB one and said he really likes Rotaries.
