Emanage Curiousity

How many FC owners are running the Emanage on here, out of curiousity?

I was trying to get a emanage section on here with no luck:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?p=4283478

I've heard rumour that teamfc3s might host one instead, but I'm trying to get an idea of how many users there are.

I've suggested this to Merciless earlier today and he is looking into it.

Is there any ems that can replace the afm with a map sensor? Other than a complete stand alone.. I was looking at the emanage and like its windows based tuning program and like all of the features. But if it doesn remove the afm I find it pointles.

A surprisingly large amount of FC's are emanage powered - how many are active on this board I'm not really sure.

I personaly want to go with the emanage system I think its options are great and a decent price considering alternatives. but im with you it has to remove that freeking AFM to be usefull that thing is so in the way.

yes but thats just the vpc, you still need to go standalone or piggy back to control other things, and I prefer going standalone...

i am in the middle of installing the emanage. and there is a thing availible or coming out or something like that. no it is availible. it can replace the MAF sensor. its a pressure sensor for the emanage and decently priced. WELL under 5.. more like 1.

emanage > SAFC

i finished my e-manage install not too long ago and currently in the process of breaking in the engine...so no tinkering for me.....e-manage can be had brand new for 275ish and some change from ebay..shipped heres a link

http://www.city-speed.com/webstore/e...y_emanage.html

i bought the setup for less than 350(unit, clone cable)...so its not so bad....other functions and add-ons can also be purchased cheaply like additional injectors harness, timing harness, boost sensor and harness and with the recent release of the gold version allow for the unit to auto adjust to specific AFR via a wideband 02 controller

the software is 110 includs the PC cable from greddy

but can also be found at www.phatg20.net
and the knock off cable can be bought for 56 dollars from
http://www.canzoomer.com/index.html

i also think this is a great alternative for those who do not wish to go through the troubles of standalone......

if u want to play around with the settings functions of the emst...PM or IM me and i'll send it to u through AIM

did you install the injector / timing harness? kinda wondering how to go about doing it. cant read Japanese so the wiring instructions are useless.

its an asia only model..but from what i gather on yahoo e-manage group the software is the only thing thats majorly differently...right now there are still ppl tying to see if the hardware is physically different i think its only a few jumpers being opened/closed....but im not 100% sure...

the gold version allows u to aututune via linear wideband o2 output and acceleration map on top of what the blue version offers....there might be more features..but again...im not sure

I did the hardware changes to the blue emange to get the 'gold' but havent had time to try updating it yet. From what I read on that yahoo group you might have to get the actual full gold software for it to work but I cant confirm that until I try updating it with the update version. I also a running emanage (if that wasnt implied already lol) and have the timing/injector harness and pressure sensor installed. If you join that yahoo emanage group I think they have english instructions on there also.

No it doesn't, just lets you tune based on it's readings, instead of the tps reading.

Torean what's so hard about the s4 tps, it reads 100% at 1/4 throttle, which is what s4's do.

I have one installed of course, with the ignition harness(works fine, just use greddy's instructions, and not dales), injection harness as well and I have wired the stock boost sensor into the emanage instead of forking out $100+ for the greddy one.

my tps voltage somehow reads .10V at full closed and .11V at full throttle....is that normal?
