electrical problem
I was driving my 87' N/A, and all of a sudden the stereo starts to fade, and I lose all of my instruments, so I pull over on the side of the road and turn it off, open the hood and everything looks alright, so I try to start it again, and it turns over slowly like a dead battery and then I get the dreaded click. I call my friend for a jump and while I'm waiting, I try and start it up again, and it has turns over and almost starts, I try again, and click, so he gets there, I get a jump, and I am driving it home, and can't go over 3800 r.p.m.'s, or it will start bucking, and my stock volt meter shows about 9, so I was discharging, then, because I keep my car outside, I try and roll up the windows, and the car dies. What's gonig on? Has anyone ever had this problem before? Oh, the battery connections were tight, and they seemed to be in good shape. Thanks.

well, I can get a reman. at Discount Auto for 134.95, and it includes a 3 year warranty, so I think I am gonig to get it there. They can also test my current one, to see if it is bad.
