electric problems with my 91

I gotta get this thing mobil.. i got it mostly together to the point where it SHOULD start... but the problem is i'm not getting any power from the battery to ANYTHING. No dome light... no idiot lights... nothing... anyone know what this is?? I dont wanna get the dash out and then relize it was somthing stupid easy..

He's suggesting that if the headlights work and you have the other symptoms you mentioned, then you've just lost the power to your ignition switch.

Usually the single, black wire connection, , located just about six inches below your engine fuse box, has it's connector disconnected.

hmm... headlights dont work but the battery is deffinatly good

If your getting power to NOTHING, make sure your battery cables are on tight, with no corrosion. Check your ground at the starter bolt....

If you have no power anywhere, then either the battery ground is not connected, the battery, positive is not connected, or it is a bad battery.

Clean the battery post connections. I'd also check the main fuse (80 or 90 amp depending on series) at the main fuse box, and make sure that the bolts on it are tight.
