Electric mirrors and interior dome light problems.....

Hey all, i'm having some difficulties figuring out where to start my work to fix this. For a while I had thought that my electric mirrors did not work at all. For some time my interior dome light only worked when it felt like it. But I now know that when it does work so do the electric mirrors! So I want to figure out what these two things have in common that would cause this kind of behavior?

I'd say crimped wire somewhere on the body harness. I'd trace the power wires if you can and patch/replace as needed....

Just pull out the dome light and see if it is all corroded. When I took mine out it crubled in my hands. the new one made a lot of the electronics start working correctly. Seems it completes a lot of cuircuts (sp)

Are you saying that you pulled the dome light and that was the culprit?

I cant remember off the top of my head where the power for the mirrors comes from, but I do know that I had a similar problem with my dome lights, interior buzzer, and it was because of bad solder joints in the CPU. ( black box located to the side of the dead pedal). I replaced that, and everything has worked fine since. I didnt notice having a problem with my mirrors though.
