ok 86 rx7 battery died so i replaced before hand stereo system would not work and interior lights (overhead lights and back light) would not work. Put new battery in car starts up everytime no prob stereo still does not work check fuses all good check power to stereo and read good. i had to mess with the yellow fuse to get lights inside to work but they would work and then go out after awhile. I would leave it on (the lights) and check it every once and a while and every so ofter they would just turn on! No sure what to do to get this to work please help!

 

sounds like you have a bad room fuse
