Bless you!!!! I will be there and I will make sure a slew of my fellow rotor heads will be also. I can promise about 10 people right off the bat. Let me know when this is no longer "in the air" and I will help promo this here in Lakeland. I have access to color copiers and printers, as well as lots of places to pass flyers and the like around, it would be my pleasure!!!

Well my uncle has a contract out with the owner of Lakeland dragstrip. I just asked him what are the chance of me holding a big Rotary meet in october at the track. He told me to see what will be an average amount of people that will show up. He said he can open it up for DRAGS and DRIFTING. There will be food services and medical and fire rescue crew on the premises. This is up on the air as of now so please be patient with times, entrance price, and exact rules. ROTOR7VEN is running the whole event.

PLEASE copy and paste this and send it to your friends and your local rotary community. This will be open to all who want to come so the only admission fees will be at the gate, and if you want to participate at the dragstrip or drift track.

THE TRACK IS NOT OPEN FOR PISTON POWERED CARS, BUT ALL ARE WELCOMED

DATE: October 7, 2007
WHERE: LAKELAND DRAGSTRIP

please keep this thread alive and free of negative comments, forward this to other sections. sevenstock always has all the rotaries in the west side of the country its our turn to have fun. If theres a low amount of people that are going to show up then it wont be enough to fund this event .

Any questions comment or concerns please email me at mazdatrix7@yahoo.com

UPDATE- with bad news

well i just found out that atkins new corner seals must be put a certain way. Because there new design they are made not to use the rubber seal but they have a grove inside of them. Well as i built the motor i got them backwards.

SO NOW ME AND THE MAD SCIENTIST HAVE TO BREAK THE MOTOR APART!!!! just to flip them over. I called atkins he said i might get compression issues but i dont want to take that chance on my motor so friday i will pull her apart and rebuild it again for saturday to start putting everything back on

aw dang, that sucks bro! That motor hasnt been run yet has it? It should be pretty clean and staright forward.

You heard about my balanced rotor problem right? We put the rotors in, not knowing which one was supposed to go on first, (since they were balanced, they go ina certain order). Engine came apart, rotors came out and went back to the balance shop. Then we find out, by chance, they were in the right way!

Better to find out now then later.

UPDATE!!!!!

Well i built my motor again due to the new design of corner seals atkins rotary sells. Well opened it once rebuilt it twice . So i hooked up a transmission bell housing with a starter to do a compression test for the first time. After fighting with Andrew to find me a battery i got my readings .......REAR rotor 100psi FRONT 100psi ......

This is on a motor that has not been broken in yet and it has 100 on both rotors. It will be a strong motor and definately pull its end of the bargain to reach 450hp
