EGR only in rear rotor?

Hi,
just confirm me if the EGR does only work the rear rotor, wich is " half housework " done for me : they do it fully or they don't, just find that strange...

Thanks.

No. It feeds exhaust gas to both primary runners thru a internal path shown in the attached jpg.

Just remove it's vacuum line should do it. Or block it's vacuum line with??? whatever. Or remove the EGR and put a flat piece of sheet metal b/t the EGR and the manifold should do it. Gaskets on both sides.

Yeah, i want to be able ot reenable it though when i have it inspected, so if there is a way to just disable it temporaily then that is what i want. So i assume that the hose that goes to the valve on the top of the engine is the one i need to remove/block off?

Also, does nyone know what kind of HP gain disabling the EGR gives you?

Yes. Block the vacuum line that goes to the EGR. Not the EGR nipple.

just due to the nature of the rotary engine there is a lot of exhaust gas in the engine anyways at idle, the egr valve basically doesnt do anything.

hp gain would be 0.
