The Comp fuse powers the emission solenoids as well as the ECU. As the White/Blue wire leaves the Comp fuse it runs to the Main Relay waiting for the key to be turned to on so the voltage on the White/Blue wire can pass onto the Black/White wire which powers the emission solenoids and ECU. You obviously have a short somewhere. If the fuse blows w/no key in the ignition then look at the condition and how the White/Blue wire leaves the Comp fuse and how it ends up at the four wire plug at the Main Relay. You can also unplug the relay and see if it makes a difference.

And this is an S4 NA?

It's an s4 na the fuse blows with the car running I tapped up a ground wire from the engine to body and its running but if I hit the brakes it turns my radio off and makes my aftermarket temp and air to fuel gauge read weird numbers

So the fuse does not blow anymore? And you taped up a ground wire to the engine/body? Was this wire an added ground or not?

egi Fuse poping = grouding somewhere.

Ive had wires haning over my downpipe get melted onto DP and pop my fuse and i coasted to a stop=/ Also had one get pinched in the motor mount on another older car(300zx turbo) and did the same thing. Check all around your engine bay for bare ended wires touching things.

I had this identical situation years ago. I recall it being a wire in one of the chases, right in front of the alternator. The wire had worn, and was touching the body periodically, causing a ground, and a popped fuse.

I think it was my air filter doing it it was some what corroded (filter has a metal tip) and a harness runs right under where it sat and it wore threw the wire enough to cause it to short when the filter touched the body and wire. I hope this fixes it

Stupid question from a rx7 noob on this topic. I was driving in the rain today and took a left and the car shut down with a blown egi. yesterday my exhaust broke off where the y-pipe flange is located could this have caused a melted wire somewhere? what else should i look for not sure where to begin.

Do you have a cone filter with metal tips? Mine was every time I turned left or hit a bump the tip of the filter would hit wires and the body and ground out

s5...i believe not entirely sure. i do have a cone filter but i dont believe its anywhere close to touching any wires. I put a new fuse in today and its been running fine all day...so its definately related to the rain.
