I don't know why this keeps popping in my head, but check the wire that feeds the ECU on that circuit, I think Hailers mentioned the pin # earlier...

If it is pretty darn hot after she runs a while, suspect the ECU, OR whatever the heck the ECU is supplying power for using that wire. Now THAT'S going to be a treasure hunt, lol...

Don't rule out a short yet, either, like you guys have been talking about before I came on. Turn the key on (or idle it) and play with all of the wiring in the engine bay to see if the fuse blows when something's moved.

Simple solution. Buy a standalone and replace all of the damn wiring!

Err.. anyway... have you double-checked your previous wire-work? Did you heatshrink individually and then tape, or just tape? I'm just wondering if you've got a few wires from where you've been playing that are contacting with movement.

you might be right sonic. I'm a firm believer in if it wasn't broke when I messed with it and then afterwards started this problem, then I must have done something. I'll recheck all the connections at the ecu and will probably just go ahead and find some sort of container to put the resisters in so they aren't touching all the other wires. Sonic If I could get a standalone I would be all over it! To much for me right now and no one could tune it in this area Anyways wayne are you talking about the power wire for the ecu? I"ll check that as well. I did have the power from the cigarette lighter tapped into that wire but quickly thought that was a dumb move so I unhooked that wire. This weekend I'm going to be trying everyones ideas and hopefully I'll find out what it is. Thanks again for the reply's, couldn't do it without yall!
