Do you think someone could link me to a decent picture of the back and passenger side of an s5 13b? I can't for the life of me figure out where these damn connectors go.

Though I appreciate your help 87. I've consulted both the FSM and Haynes. Though they give a diagram of the vacuum system, they don't show the hoses that I'm looking for in specific, they seem to focus more on the vacuum spiders. I am just looking for a passenger side shot and maybe a shot between the engine and firewall. If someone could take a pic of your functional vacuum system, I would greatly appreciate it.

Is this what you're looking for?

Edit: second pic added.

That is very close to what I need in the second picture. I have the spider in the back all figured out, I just have some random problems. But vacuum has dropped to low priority, in the process of taking off the UIM I managed to develop a fuel leak just behind and below the alternator Not a small *drip* *drip* *drip* either, more of a constant flow... So I guess it all comes back off then

I have full emissions, and I will be doing removal eventually, no time now, I'm spending way to much to have other people take me to work, I'd like to my my car fixed asap. I still need a good picture of the passenger side of the engine bay, perhaps a little zoomed out so I can see where the hoses coming off the engine run to.

Best I can do.

BTW, ignore the blue thing in the BAC-Thermowax coolant hose. That's an adapter for a temp sensor.

Thank you, thats very helpful. So here's where I stand.

A) This is capped? I currently have this running to the thing behind the charcoal canister (Yes, i'm mechanically nub)

B) I have this ran as shown, the water line is kinda in my view, but this does go on the plug closest to the firewall correct?

C) And finally, I have this one ran to a plug directly below it. This was my biggest concern because the hose is the one that was on before, it was in good shape and never replaced it. It seems like it has a little too much slack for that spot.

I appreciate the pictures and all the help.

New concern though. Over on the other side of the engine, in the rats next. The block with the blue electrical connector (rear most) the cheap plastic nipple seems to have cracked at the base and now it sort of flaps open. I have the hose plugged with an allen wrench atm, but how can I fix that? Super glue?

Thanks again,
Jerry
