ecu/wiring same 87-88?

I am curently runing my 88tII harness with an 87tII ecu and i was wondering if the 88 ecu/wiring got the same pinout position from 87 to 88 ?

Fsm from RotaryHeads.com - 2nd Gen RX-7 PDF Technical Manuals FC3S show only 86 to 88 and 89 -91 fsm (s4 and s5 series only and not each years with theirs respective fsm.

They should be identical. Some of the wires may have a different color but they run to the very same spots (ground wires on the 86 are a different color than the 88's but their routing is exactly the same).

beware 87.5 cars are real i have one.. i know the abs unit is different and was unique to 6 months worth of cars so if something else is different then i wouldnt be surprised. i think some 88s have s5 body reinforcements as well.
