ECU upgrades for an N/A FC?

In my quest for more reliable, street driven power I want to know if I should be looking into any ECU upgrades for my FC. I own a s5 N/A and im looking for some more power without porting the motor, which I probably wont do until I need to rebuild the motor. Current mods are just a full exhaust including racing beat header, bonez high flow cat and a corksport cat back. Im gonna make a CAI for the car in the near future as well. Thats all that bascially is available for N/As in terms of "bolt-ons." And Id like to mod the car without opening the motor. SO what benefits would I see from a properly tuned piggy back (standalones are out of my budget) and what would you recommend, if any for a s5 N/A with the above mods? All input is appreciated, especially from members with experience with this form of tuning/modding.

Thanks, matt

an oldschool SAFC will do the deed. at some point an Rtek will be coming out for the n/a's, at least the s4, but that's a ways off I think.

^ yeah that's fine. it has more rpm breakpoints so you get more controllability, but I think most people hate the interface.

If you have a second car to drive, go get a Megasquirt.
