ecu question

can i put a ecu for a 87 tubro on a 87 non turbo rx7 is there anything to gain from it?

Nothing to gain at all. It should start though. And run.

The turbo ECU is meant to run with 550 cc fuel injectors. The turbo ECU is not geared to see the output of a non turbo pressure sensor. The voltage output of a non turbo pressure sensor is NOT the same as the output of a turbo pressure sensor.

I've swapped turbo ECU into non turbo 1986 n/a and run for extended periods of time BUT I also used the turbo pressure sensor. Actually it ran pretty well considering all. I wish I'd have had a wideband in that car when I was doing that. Hmmmm. It only takes thirty minutes to reconfigure and I now have a wideband in it. Hmmmmmm.
