ECU question

I want to reground my ECU because I have 3800 hesitation. I have a 86 GXL and I can't find the ECU. Where is the ECU located and which wire is the ground wire that gets regrounded?

the ecu is on the passenger side, right under where they would put their feet... pull the small sidewall panel, pull back the carpet (might need to take a few screws outta the door seal panel), remove the 10mm bolts (4) from the metal "cover panel", ecu is right there, 3 plugs on the bottom. don't have the ground pin # info here, I think there are 4 of 'em, try reading 'em out with a meter first, I read 0 ohms on all mine (w/ a 9-volt battery source from the meter) so I didn't even mess w/ em...I know someone in this forum can tell ya the pin #'s (it's also in the FSM, page 4a-30 or so)
