ECU pin-out

I'm looking for the pinout voltages for my S4T2. I searched but haven't had any success.
I found a chart in the FSM, page 4B-31. Can I use the voltages listed there?

You've already answered your own question. The FSM.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if that was the correct table. So, if I used a volt meter and went from a pin on the ecu to ground, I should get the voltage indicated in the table.

I just don't want to fry my ecu.

Yeah. You can unbolt the ECU from its bracket and tilt it up so you can access the three plugs easier. The ECU does not need to be grounded itself.

I use one of the studs that holds the ECU to the bracket for the ground lead of the meter. Then, with all plugs connected up to the ECU and all other plugs on the car connected, turn the key to ON (or idle if required) and backprobe each wire. Then compare to the pages in the FSM.

The pinouts are from looking into the WIRE end of the plug and reading from right to left in a up/down fashion.

Great. Thanks for the info. My rebuild has about 800 miles on it and it still won't re-start after warming up. I'll give it a little longer but the rebuild I did last year, on an S4 NA, started right after warm-up.

Anyway........ thanks

You might check the BAC out. It goes full open when the key is put or held to Start. After that it goes into its duty cycle. By the way, full open isn't much when looking inside it. It moves maybe a quarter inch to full open.

Then again, it could be something else.
