The ebay ones are pretty much the same as the corksport ones. I've got 4 strut tower bars; Ebay, Feed, RE Amemiya, and JIC. They all work the same. The difference is the name, style, and the quality. I'm not saying that any of the bars is a higher quality than the other performancewise, they differ in construction quality.
In my honest opinion, you'll be fine with ebay bars. You can even get a front and rear set for $20-$30.

any strut bar that is bolted to a flange that bolts to the strut tower will flex at that joint...
the old Racing beat bar was SUPERIOR becasue it only bolted at the strut towers...
all bars are not the same however they are very similair and unless you are HARDCORE to the edge auto X racing It hink the money you spend is in the name... but then again if you were a HARDCORE auto X racer you would not buy one from ebay.

Well anti-roll bar and strut bars are totatly different, but i assume you mean strut tower bar/brace.
i agree with red_s5_fc3s. You would not have any noticible difference between bars.
Cusco and JIC is what im rocking.. Non-adjustible strut bars should have the most strength.
But if it matters, I tend to believe that if you are building a car or a car that you may sell later on, try to keep the parts respectibly brand name or quality since overal presentation of the car will be greater , potentially more interest for a buyer, or show judging/sponserships etc..

Exactly. It's like buying shoes. Nikes cost a lot becuase of the name. You could buy knock offs, which look legit, but the feel is a bit different. Or you could hit up payless, where the shoes don't look as nice, but they feel the same and offer the same support.
The best strut tower bars in my opinion are CP racing (who no longer exists) and Mazdatrix. This is becuase they are one piece and they attatch to the strut tower tops and the firewall.
If you're buying them for bling, get name brands. If you're buying them for actual race purposes, get mazdatrix. If your looking to just get a peppier ride for yourself, ebay works fine. It's not like you'll be doing anything crazy on the streets... or at least you shouldn't be!

i got a ebay rear one, and after like a hour and a half of cutting out chunks of the rear tower walls and small parts of the bracket(just like like (| shapes ), and using a air hammer to flex out the wall some i got it to fit. Never really drove the car after i installed it but deff looks badass. lol. And i still got the rear spearks! lol i think ill be happy as long as it doesnt blow up.

same here, the ebay ones are crap, I learned that and found out it applies to a lot more than just strut bars, a lot of that ebay junk is cheap chinese crap that doesn't do anything but look like a real item.
I bought the TC Sportline front and rear bars from Mazdatrix as well and was quite pleased with the very nice quality, the fit was flawless and it looks bad ***. Most definitely worth the money to go for the TC Sportline.

I've used an ebay one before, it'll work just fine however will fail in comparison to an authentic cusco, or mazdatrix etc strut tower bar. They'll work, but they're just not as rigid. Ya get what you pay for.

Hey 1st7, the bar might be hitting the hood because you've got an NA hood. It will most likely clear a turbo hood. I've noticed that my RE Amemiya and Feed STBs don't fit with NA hoods, but fit perfect with turbo hoods.
