On an S4, you'd need a little adapter plate to get that pipe (or just the filter) on it. an S5 doesn't require the adapter, which is why it says it's for the 90-92. (although an 89 would work too, just shows how much they know about 7s.)

However, I'm not really sure where the hell that bent pipe would go, unless you took something out...

From: Kissimmee Fl,
this is the way i have it put on my S4 its crazy but it works, the top piece holding it on is a piston ring compressor and inside the compressor i have about 10 rubberbands making it air tight so no air leaks. like i said before, its crazy but it works

Why not just buy a prelude intake off ebay and make a true cold air intake? All that intake (fc3sfreek's) is doing is causing it to suck in a bunch of hot engine bay air whereas before it was sucking in cold air with the stock air box.

Also, why did you put that little breather filter on the intake pipe? Usually that's meant for the air pump (if you still have it) and that breather filter is kind of worthless how you have it. You can just plug that nipple.

The heat being soaked in from the engine bay negates any performance. So its not too good for now ;o.

i was in the process of building a cold air box but then my rear apex seals went and i never finished it, as far as the breather, its just there because i found it lying around the garage and just put it on and no i dont have an air pump. the maf is just hanging because the piston ring compressor holding it on is metal and its pretty strong
