E- shaft jet upgrade....some Q's

i sorta read up on it and was wondering who is running them......is it worth the bother? when is it time to upgrade to these?...if people get these installed, should they upgrade other oil components as well?

Good question! Does a person need a street or race pump to compensate for the two 2mm holes (dumping oil) in the e-shaft?

no because your car can produce the correct ommount of oil pressure to make this happen. basically anytime you need this is when your car is seeing more stress than a 100% stock car that isnt run hard like most rx7 people run their cars. if you drive conservatively it will do nothing. if you bash on your engine, it wont hurt, but you wont bennefit form it too much a stock engine. when you start to see over 200 whp is about the oint i would do this mod. but thats just me.

This isn't one of those "bigger is better" mods. The jets you install are SMALLER than the stock jets.
The purpose of installing smaller jets is to provide more oil flow to the bearings. When you severely increase the oil pressure for high rpms (100 psi+), the stock oil jets dump far more oil into the rotor for cooling than is necessary. This is oil that could easily be used for protecting the bearings, so you limit the rotor cooling flow.

This mod has no purpose on a street car that sees limited high-rpm use. Its only for cars that spend their lifetime above 8K rpm where the death of bearings is a serious issue.
