have u ever changed a brake line on a bike? if so, then you should know how to change the line. if not, some shop would probably charge like 50 bucks

My e-brake cable needs replacing also.. my mechanic said it was NOT easy to do though. I don't know if he was lying to get money out of me or what.

Victoria British has them, make sure you know which one you need, before you order.

I hate it when this happens.

Replacing the line is fairly easy, but you need to remove the transmission (and thus the driveshaft and exhaust) to get at it. After that, all you need to do is remove the e-brake trim and line retaining nut, the two brackets under the car that hold it on, and pry the other end from the holder at the back of the cable.

It's at least 3 hours of work if there are no problems (such as broken exhaust bolts).
