Dyno Tuning

I was talkin with someone i know and they had their car dyno tuned. and gained some HP. What do i have to mod on my car if anything to have it dyno tuned? Also what is the running price for a dyno tune?

I've heard RTek > S-AFC.

I have an S-AFC so I can only vouch for that, but I plan on getting an RTek soon.
